Is Miami Velvet worth the drive from South Beach?
We're staying in South Beach and Miami Velvet is about 25 minutes away near Doral. Is it worth the Uber ride out there, or are there better options closer to SoBe? We've heard great things but the location seems inconvenient.

Absolutely worth the drive. Miami Velvet is 20,000+ square feet — nothing in South Beach comes close to that size or quality. The venue itself is gorgeous: two dance floors, 15+ private rooms, group rooms, and their BYOB bar is massive. We stay in South Beach and Uber there every time we visit Miami. Just budget $25-30 each way for the ride. Pro tip: they serve a complimentary breakfast buffet after midnight, so you can sober up and save on a late-night food run.

We live in Brickell and make the drive to Miami Velvet almost every Saturday. There's a reason it's the biggest lifestyle club in Florida. The Doral location actually works in your favor — easy parking, discreet area, and no South Beach drama. Get there around 11pm and plan to stay until 3-4am. The crowd picks up late because this is Miami — nobody shows up before midnight.
If you're dead set on staying in the South Beach area, you could check out some of the more low-key lifestyle house parties that pop up in Wynwood and the Design District. But honestly, Miami Velvet is the flagship and for good reason. The production value is unmatched.
