The hosts are great about making newcomers feel welcome. Once you're comfortable, you can graduate to Miami Velvet which has a more traditional club setup but is still very beginner-friendly.

Miami Velvet is honestly the best place in Miami for any experience level. They have a "newbie night" once a month specifically for first-timers. The staff gives you a tour and explains everything. My partner and I started there 3 years ago and it's still our favorite spot.
Start with one of the off-premise meetups before going to a full club. Rooftop Resort hosts monthly mixers that feel like a regular happy hour. You get to meet people, ask questions, and decide if the lifestyle is right for you — all in a normal bar setting. Much less intimidating than showing up at an on-premise club for the first time.
