We're visiting Miami in the summer and love the idea of a lifestyle-friendly pool party. Are there any recurring ones? We've been to Desire in Cancun and want something with that same daytime vibe.

Miami has a great daytime lifestyle scene, especially between March and October. A few options:

  • Private pool parties — These pop up regularly in the Kendall and Doral areas. They're usually organized through lifestyle apps and Facebook groups. Expect 20-50 couples, BYOB, and a relaxed clothing-optional vibe.
  • Bliss Cruise pre-parties — When Bliss Cruise departs from Fort Lauderdale, the pre-departure pool party the day before is legendary. It's at a resort and hundreds of lifestyle couples attend.
  • Haulover Beach — Not a party per se, but the clothing-optional section of Haulover Beach north of Bal Harbour is where a lot of Miami lifestyle couples hang out on weekends. Great way to meet people in a vanilla setting.

For the Desire-style resort feel, you'd need to go to Caliente or Paradise Lakes near Tampa, but Miami's pool party scene is more of a pop-up culture.

Follow Miami lifestyle event promoters on social media. There are groups that rent out entire mansion properties in areas like Pinecrest and Coral Gables for day-into-night pool parties. Usually $50-100 per couple, BYOB, and they're incredible. The quality of the homes and the crowds are next-level because this is Miami.
