We're visiting Miami for a lifestyle weekend and want to know the best area to book a hotel. We'd like to be close to the clubs and have good restaurants/bars nearby for pre-gaming. Budget is moderate — not looking for the cheapest option but don't need a penthouse suite.

For a lifestyle weekend in Miami, I'd recommend staying in South Beach or Brickell. South Beach puts you walking distance from Velvet Nightclub and all the nightlife. Brickell is more upscale and central, with easy access to LUX Social Club. Hotels in the $200-300/night range are solid.

We always book an Airbnb when we visit Miami for lifestyle weekends. More privacy, usually better value, and you can get a place with a hot tub. Just make sure you're within a reasonable Uber distance from the clubs — neither of you should be driving after a night out.
